Although this course is useful for anyone who is at risk of encountering workplace bullying, it is especially valuable for employers who need to understand how to comply with their legal responsibility to look after their employees.
This understanding bullying in the workplace course will cover the basics of bullying in the workplace to give you an understanding of what workplace bullying is, where workplace bullying might occur, why workplace bullying happens and who needs to know about it. You will also look at some scenarios that show examples of workplace bullying happening in different industries.
You will then move onto exploring why bullies bully, as well as when bullying becomes harassment and the key differences between the two. You will then look at the different types of bullying that can happen in the workplace and work through some examples of each.
Then you will explore examples and scenarios about the different forms of bullying and the psychology of the bully themselves. Finally, the course will finish by covering the different ways in which bullying in the workplace can be tackled, including raising a complaint, the different ways the bully can be dealt with, as well as the employers responsibilities.
In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.
You will earn 3 CPD points on completion of the course, this course will take around 3 hours to complete and the certificate will last for two years.
