Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at those already qualified and practising as a level 3 teaching assistant.
Requirements
Learners should already be qualified as a TA and hold one of the following qualifications:
Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (RQF/QCF)
Level 3 Diploma in Speclialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools (RQF/QCF)
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (Minimum 3 years Experience). Letter of confirmation from your school will be required.
If you have vast experience as a TA, but hold no qualifications, then you may be accepted on the basis of experience (Minimum 5 years experience).
Placement required for a min 1 day per week.
