TQUK offers qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of the importance of good personal and workplace hygiene and to take responsibility for food safety in a food retailing environment.
- Everyone who works with food has a legal and moral duty to safeguard food and ensure it is safe to consume and not cause harm or injury to the consumer. Food retailing can vary from very large scale to small outlets. Food can be ready-packaged or on display ready to be served or packaged and this course will look at different sections of retail outlets and food safety for organisations.
Completing the level 2 food safety training online, means that you can do it whenever you wish.
The assessment is a 45 minute online one and needs to be refreshed every three years
Each qualification which TQUK offers is supported by a specification that includes all the information required by a centre to deliver a qualification. Information in the specification includes unit information, assessment and learning outcomes.
You will upload relevant ID at the beginning of the course. A webcam or similar is required to ensure invigilation.
