Teaching Assistants play a vital role in supporting the pupils, teacher, and the school. By studying this course, you will learn the skills and knowledge required for this exciting and highly rewarding career.

Teaching Assistants carry out a range of practical and administrative tasks, and work under the direction of the class teacher in the supervision and support of pupils’ learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you would need to help prepare lessons, put up displays around the school, and sometimes work with individual children. In doing this you are helping to make more time available for the teacher to teach.
