Overview

Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty and dyslexic learners face problems when processing words into meaningful information, but that doesn't mean it's a barrier to being skilled and achieving well in education.

With about 10% of the UK population with some degree of dyslexia, it's likely you will be supporting dyslexic learners. Learn how the condition affects children and young people, signs and symptoms, the importance of early identification, and teaching strategies.

David asked:

Would this be a proper recognised qualification also what level please.

Answer:

Hi David, This is not an Ofqual regulated qualification. The course is CACHE endorsed, which means the Awarding Body has reviewed it for quality and currency and given it their stamp of approval (but it should not be confused with a qualification or licence to practice). There is no level on this short course, but I would say it's equilavent to a Level 2. Thanks, Sophie
