Perhaps your child is an aspiring young scientist and you want to give them the chance to explore and experiment with science in a way that really jumpstarts their curiosity and ability. Maybe you know how important science is for your child to learn, and want to get them totally excited about building things and doing experiments. Or, perhaps your child is having a hard time with traditional dry, boring science classes in school and trying to learn from a textbook.
If you can relate to any of these, then the e-Science program might be just what you've been looking for!
This program engages your child with over 500 hands-on experiments and activities. Each experiment is demonstrated and explained by a master science teacher though step-by-step videos that kids can go through on their own. More in-depth explanations, worksheets and quizzes are provided as well. Plus, you get unlimited support from a team of real scientists and teachers to answer all your science questions.
Since the program is self-guiding, kids can go through it on their own. This is great if you don't have a science background yourself, or if you just don't have time. Of course, you can do it alongside your child as well.
The Supercharged Science e-Science program covers everything from the most basic experiments to advanced AP-level physics. And, like real science, it's foundation is in hands-on experiments. After all, no great scientist was ever inspired by reading a textbook - they all got their start by building rockets or radios or whatever it was that they were curious about. THIS is how Supercharged Science teaches. Because kids learn science best when they are actively doing experiments and creating projects. Of course the program includes extensive printed explanations too, but its foundation is all hands-on.
The Supercharged Science e-Science program is even better than a science kit. Kits are great, but after building a few projects with them (or maybe just one), kids are done and ready to move on. Not to mention that they're expensive. But the e-Science program has hundreds of experiments and projects in all areas of science. Plus, they use mostly inexpensive everyday materials - the kind of things you can buy at the grocery store or hardware store - because real science doesn't need to be expensive.
Each activity is presented by master science teacher and rocket scientist Aurora Lipper. Aurora actually worked for NASA, as well as being on the Cal Poly University faculty for years, and has done PhD work at Stanford University. She is also an astronomer and licensed pilot, as well as being a mom. For the past 10 years, she has dedicated here career to making science fun and easy for kids to learn.
