This course will prepare you with the necessary procedures to provide your client with a complete hands and feet makeover as well as basic massage techniques to relax their hands and feet.

Once you have completed this course you will be able to:

Understand what qualities make a successful professional nail technician, including the importance of personal hygiene, appearance, attitude and general behavior.

Understand the basic anatomy of the hand, wrist and nail when performing basic massage.

Understand the benefits of a manicure and pedicure. Perform a consultation, and identify how to set up a workstation and what equipment and tools are required.

Explore the various types of Nail Enhancement systems and identify the risks associated when working with them. Ascertain the advantages and disadvantages of working with different nail systems.

Identify when there is a problem with enhancements, understand why the problem has occurred, and be able to advise what steps are required to overcome the problem.

Recognise the paramount importance of the long-term comfort and safety of yourself and the client, ensuring that you have the correct working environment when working with nail enhancements and the importance of finishing procedures to a smooth and glossy surface.
