The objective of this Statutory Requirements and Fundamental Standards for Leadership and Management of Care Services course is to make learners aware of what the law in England mandates for those owning, leading, or managing a care setting.
The course also covers in great detail, the role of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to register new care services, monitor and assess the quality of the delivery of care support, inspect care providers to ensure they are complying with legislation and regulations, rate care services according to their assessed performance and publish the ratings, enforce legislation to improve care quality and prosecute or sanction offending organisations and providers, and finally provide an independent voice in the care sector by publishing reports and articles.
