Course Content Standard 10: Safeguarding Adults Course :

• Introduction to safeguarding principles and how they apply to vulnerable adults.
• Understanding types of abuse and neglect, including physical, emotional, sexual, financial, and discriminatory abuse.
• Legal framework and policies related to safeguarding adults, including the Care Act 2014.

• Best practices for promoting a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable adults.

Aims of the Standard 10: Safeguarding Adults Course :

The primary aim of this course is to equip learners with the essential understanding and abilities to effectively safeguard adults at risk. It seeks to:

• Enhance awareness of the various forms of abuse and neglect.
• Clarify the legal and ethical obligations of those working with vulnerable adults.
• Improve the skills necessary for identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns.
• Foster a proactive approach to preventing abuse and neglect.

Assessment

online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need. Although you need to purchase the same course again when you used all ten (10) attempts.

Certificate

Our online social care courses are accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and are nationally recognised. Once you have completed your assessment you will be awarded a free accredited certificate in PDF format which is immediately available. Hard copies of the certificate are available for an additional fee. All evidence of learning and certification will remain in our system for your future reference.
