Description

This course is designed for anyone who is working in or about to move into a management position in the construction industry. The course will cover all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in construction industries. It covers assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.

This course is ideal for anyone who currently holds a valid CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate and is due to expire.

On completion of this course you will be aware of, and able to implement or state:

  • all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affects them during their daily work
  • new guidance and industry best practice
  • their duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment

Certificates are valid for 5 years. However, due to continuing changes in legislation, technology, environmental management and cultural behaviour, it is highly recommended that these refresher courses are undertaken every 3 years of completing the original course

Course Attendance
Delegates are required to attend the entire course, since without full attendance and achievement in the examination the Construction Site Supervisors’ Safety Certificate cannot be completed.
