Description

Sage accounting software course will build on your knowledge and practical skills of using accounting software. You will learn to enter accounting transactions and produce a range of reports. Most learners start at this level.

The qualification covers the following key topics:

  • Set up accounting software
  • Create customer and suppliers accounts
  • Process sales and purchase transactions
  • Perform bank and cash transactions
  • Set up petty cash and transactions
  • Bank reconciliation, and
  • Produce reports

This qualification consists of 1 unit with one assessment.

Assessment: 1 computer-based assessment (135 minutes)

No previous knowledge or skill required. Basic level of Maths and English required.

After this qualification you can further progress to level 2 and 3 bookkeeping and accounting qualifications.

AAT qualifications are recognised by employers as practical and technical qualifications , which prepare learners for the world of work and for working specifically in accountancy and finance roles.

Who is this course for?

There is no entry criteria or work experience required for this course. It is advisable to have English language proficiency and a relevant level of math skills. This course is ideal if you are leaving school or college, returning to work or simply want to change your career.

What does study method mean?

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
