Overview

This Circuit Instructor course is available to existing personal trainers and fitness (Gym & ETM) instructors who wish to deliver Circuit Training sessions/classes. Our one day circuit Instructor course will cover topics ranging from planning and managing health and safety risks through circuit training sessions to preparing and developing a circuit that will improve client’s individual performance.

Description

What will I learn?

The circuit training course will develop students to a competent and confident level to plan and instruct circuit based group sessions, covering subjects such as; how to plan, teach and evaluate a safe and effective circuit training session, appropriate health & safety considerations, circuit training approaches & techniques and how to set up a circuit based class.

How Long is the course?

This course lasts for one full day (9am until 5pm).

This specialist CPD course is being run in 4 of our current fitness venues; our locations in Bournemouth, Birmingham, London & Manchester.

ASSESSMENT

What assessments will I need to complete?

This course requires 30 minutes of pre-reading, followed by a mandatory attendance day with a practical assessment to take place on the course.

What support will I get?

Once booked on to the course learners will be given access to the student zone so they can familiarise themselves with the course manual, they will also given the contact details for our student support team who will assist them with any problems outside of the classroom, and our in house tutors will be there to support you on the day of your course.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for any fitness professional whom holds a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym, Aqua or Exercise to Music) and are over the age of 16.

Requirements

To be eligible for this course learners must hold a recognised Level 2 fitness qualification and provide a copy of the certificate as proof. A reasonable level of fitness and reading and writing skills is also recommended.

Career path

Upon completion students will receive a Discovery Learning REPS certificate in Circuit Training and awarded 10 REPS points.
