QualityMVP Foundation Course
The 12 week Foundation program is 1 of 3 courses we deliver to aspiring Product Managers and businesses at QualityMVP. Through education and coaching in areas such as Agile development and risk management, the Foundation learning is essential for all Product Professionals to understand when developing effective product solutions.
Assessment
As a student of the QualityMVP Foundation course, there are two forms of assessment available for you to choose from. The two options available are, Individual Multiple-Choice Assessments or Professional Discussions with a Product Expert. Before getting started with your assignments, please take the time to read the Assessment Outline documents provided on enrolment to find out more about these options.
The Basic Processes of Product Management:
You’ll start by learning the basics of product management. From understanding the QualityMVP framework and Agile product development methods, to understanding the mentality of a Product Manager in development and project management. This unit will strengthen your knowledge of how a Product Manager operates.

UNIT 1: The Idea:
In this unit, you will explore methods universally used to conjure product opportunities and identify the market need for your solutions. You’ll understand the need to validate assumptions and be able to recognise why some products entering the market fail.

UNIT 2: Explore the Idea:
In this unit, you will strengthen your understanding of using Market Research and Customer Development to identify and validate whether the problem your solution aims to resolve truly exists. You will learn how to begin testing your ideas.

UNIT 3: The Validation Process:
In this unit, you will begin to consider prototyping and understand the importance of user testing. You will learn a variety of idea validation processes and consider the benefits of working with Field Experts. This unit will also dive into preparing for the product launch.

UNIT 4: The Deployment Process:

UNIT 5: The Review & Revise Process:

UNIT 6: The Product Launch Process:
At this stage in product development you will understand the important Product Launch considerations. The considerations discussed at this stage of QualityMVP will help ensure a successful release to the market.

UNIT 7: Improvement:
The learning material at this stage explores evaluating the success of your product once you have released it to the market and how to determine the next steps toward business growth. The material presses you to consider analysing the performance metrics, obtaining consumer feedback, and referring to the Product Backlog.
