Overview

This one or two-day Project Management in Practice course is designed for people who manage real projects in real organisations – often alongside their day job – and want deeper confidence, structure, and control.

The course goes beyond basic project fundamentals and focuses on how projects actually succeed: clear definition, realistic planning, effective communication, disciplined control, and strong decision-making when things don’t go to plan.

Across the two days, participants work through a shared example project, applying each concept as it is introduced. This ensures learning is practical, connected, and immediately transferable back to the workplace.

The course is method-aware rather than method-heavy. It draws on good practice from PRINCE2, Agile, and APM, without forcing participants into rigid processes or unnecessary documentation.

This course is delivered as in-house training, either on-site or live online, and can be tailored to your organisation’s projects, language, and governance requirements.

If you prefer, a shortened version of the course can be run over one day.
