Steve Hedges Photography

Steve Hedges photography has been providing workshops and photography courses in Essex, London, Suffolk, Kent, and throughout the south of the UK and overseas for many years now. Originally known as “ArtEscape Photography”, we have now decided to call our main website “Steve Hedges Photography” as so many people were googling Steve’s name when they saw him giving presentations at local Camera Clubs. For many years we have helped countless people learn how to use their cameras, become technically proficient, improve their creativity and above all develop their eye as a photographer.  Indeed, Country File Online Magazine has been kind enough to list us in their top ten UK photography course providers.

Our distance learning photography courses are based on a number of classroom photography courses I teach at various locations around the Essex area. After helping many people to improve their photography, we decided to combine our series of classroom photography courses into distance learning photography courses available to you, regardless of where you live. 

Along with the fully-illustrated lessons there are a number of projects to complete. Photography is a practical subject so it’s important to get out and take photographs. (That’s the fun part in any case). Once you have completed the projects, you then email them back to me and I’ll assess each image and reply with a constructive critique for each one. There is no time limit for our distance learning courses – you work at your own rate. I think this is one of the big benefits of any distance learning course.
