Giving you a specific date to prepare and get ready for, nearer the time if you’re not fully prepared or your plans change, we are pretty flexible and can happily reschedule your exam.

Home or work, remote examination.

Remote or home examinations were introduced by City & Guilds in early 2021 to help ease the backlog of examinations due to the COVID pandemic. Because of its success, home examinations are now available across all City & Guilds evolve end point assessments. 

This great option allows candidates to take the examination from the safety and comfort of their own home or workplace. Additional charges apply. 

Why choose, home examination?

• Take the examination from the safety and comfort of your home or workplace. 
• Examinations available Monday – Friday 0830hrs – 1600hrs. 
• Examination setting must be appropriate for an examination to be taken.
• Candidates must have a PC with a recent Microsoft operating system and a good internet connection.
• Candidates must also hold a reasonable level of computer literacy. 
• Only available for City & Guilds qualifications. 
• Often the quickest way to take your examination.
