About us

I am a qualified SAFED trainer, a registered MIDAS trainer, a DSAapproved fleet trainer and an approved trainer for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

I hold a BA (Hons)and a Certificate in Education from Manchester University. Other qualifications I hold are the Cardington Special Driving Test, the RoSPA Gold Driving Certificate, the RoSPA Gold Diploma in Advanced Driving Tuition, the Diamond Advanced Driving Certificate and a BTEC Diploma in Vehicle Health & Safety and Defensive Driver Training. I also hold the NEBOSH DIP

I have worked closely with insurance companies carrying out LGV, minibus, van and car driving assessments and training. In this capacity I have been responsible for the health and safety of many vehicles and drivers.

Westholme school have now had training with Mr Grimshaw’s company for several years and we have been very happy with the level of service The course is practical, relevant and good value. The practical session in the minibus is informative and Mr Grimshaw is helpful and reassuring. I feel very strongly that this type of training is invaluable for company drivers who spend many hours on the road in the course of their employment. As responsible employers we take the safety and health of our employees very seriously indeed and it was refreshing to hear the very positive comments from each and everyone of the Envair representatives who took part in the sessions. In addition it is interesting to note the improved fuel consumption that we are now realising from the vehicles since the updated driving techniques have been utilised. Over the last 12 months we have placed over 40 drivers on the 1 day training course through your organisation. We wish to place on record the benefits our company have derived from the course. The majority of drivers who received tuition gained extra knowledge and experience, particularly in interpreting road signs, markings and other environmental considerations whilst they were driving their respective vehicles.
