Entry requirements

To qualify for a FREE Level 2 online learning course, you must:

  • You must be aged 19 years or over as at 31/08/20
  • You must have lived in the EU for the last three year
  • If you are aged 19-23, you must hold a full Level 2 qualification or above in any subject
  • If you are aged 24+ you do not need to have a qualification
  • You must not be on another funded programme i.e. an apprenticeship or another distance learning or online course
  • You must not be on another distance learning course with another training provide
  • You must currently reside in England, in a postcode outside of Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge and Peterborough, Tees Valley, West Midlands or the North of Tyne Combined Authority NTCA).
  • An administration fee will be incurred if you withdraw from the course

What does study method mean?

Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

What is an ‘endorsed’ course?

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body’s logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
