This study bundle includes fully accredited courses to help you meet the learning objectives for two well respected sets of qualifications – MSP and PRINCE2. In addition to the 50+ hours of video material, you will have unlimited access to practise exams, downloadable learning materials and quizzes for 12 months, which allows you to be fully prepared for successfully passing the official exams and obtaining the globally recognised certifications for each qualification.

A Programme Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects via their project leaders, and this means that they must possess a holistic view of the programme’s goals and objectives. PRINCE2 provides the project-level principles and processes which should be followed, while MSP provides the framework required to manage multiple projects at such a large scale.

The certifications that these courses prepare you to acquire are acknowledged all around the world, and will prove your proficiency with both of these globally adopted best practice methodologies.

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner

PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner

The themes used in MSP work in harmony with the themes implemented by PRINCE2, and they can be used very successfully to support one another when managing large scale programmes. This bundle aims to familiarise you with all of the necessary themes, principles and processes from both methodologies, so that you will be fully prepared to manage projects and programmes of high complexity.

Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) has been embraced as one of the most popular Programme Management frameworks, and is used internationally by a variety of organisations. MSP is best practice and aims at providing improvements and benefits to organisations at a business operation level.

PRINCE2 is a best practice process-based methodology which structures projects into stages that are easily managed, and this makes the overall project management process smoother and more effective.

The PRINCE2 courses in this bundle both contain content that fully supports the recent updates made by AXELOS to the official PRINCE2 guidance, Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 2017 Edition. This iteration of PRINCE2 places more importance on tailoring projects, and pays greater respect to the themes, principles and processes of PRINCE2.

The information gained from these courses – along with their associated certifications – will provide you with an advantage when it comes to establishing and furthering your career as a Programme Manager.

During the PRINCE2 courses included in this study bundle, you will become familiar with the foundational concepts of PRINCE2 such as the 7 themes and the effect they have on projects, the 7 principles and the guidance they provide and the 7 processes and the path they outline for the project to progress along. You will also learn about the management products and their benefits and uses, and the terms associated with PRINCE2 projects.

In the Practitioner level of PRINCE2 you will learn how to practically apply all of this knowledge and how to tailor the methodology to any project, and a deeper appreciation for the themes, principles and process and how they interact.

The MSP Foundation course in this bundle will cover the base-level information required to work effectively within a programme environment, including the 9 governance themes and how they contribute to defining the programme management approach, the 7 principles and how they effect the management of programmes and the 6 transformational flow processes and how they guide the progression of a programme.

The MSP Practitioner level course will illustrate how to apply the MSP principles, governance themes and transformational flow processes to managing programmes in a live environment.

Why study online?

Many students prefer online study to conventional classroom-based learning as it provides them with the freedom to learn at their own pace, and in an environment in which they are comfortable.

Online study material can also be viewed and revised as many times as the student needs, which contributes to long-term memory retention.

These factors, in addition to the fact that online training courses are often more cost effective than the on-site alternative, make online study an appealing option to students today.
