  • Understand the impact stressful situations may have on an individual’s mental health, the use of helpful coping strategies and how the stressors (and unhelpful coping strategies) may lead to suicidal thoughts
  • Understand the importance of a conversation taking place with an individual at risk of suicide. The learner will be able to identify solutions focused responses
  • The learner will know how to sign-post the individual to appropriate support and professional services
