Overview

Caring for a child with a tracheostomy requires up-to-date knowledge, practical skills, and the confidence to respond safely in both routine and emergency situations.

This course is designed for nurses, carers, and healthcare professionals supporting babies and children with a tracheostomy. It provides essential theoretical knowledge alongside practical guidance to ensure safe, effective, and child-centred care.

The training is delivered by an experienced nurse with many years of hands-on clinical practice caring for infants and children with tracheostomies. This means you will not only learn the theory, but also gain practical insights, real-life examples, and the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive learning environment.
