Palliative care holistic assessment focuses on physical, emotional, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of care. Learners explore how holistic assessment supports person-centred planning and coordinated support.
The healing journey at the end of life explores emotional processes, communication awareness, family involvement, and the importance of dignity, comfort, and respect during the final stages of life.
Ethical aspects of palliative care examine ethical principles such as autonomy, dignity, consent, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. Emphasis is placed on awareness of ethical challenges and the importance of working within professional and organisational boundaries.
The course concludes with an assessment and final exam, allowing learners to demonstrate understanding of palliative care principles, holistic support awareness, and ethical considerations.

After successful completion of the Palliative Care Awareness and Support Principles course, learners receive a free digital certificate confirming course completion.
