Overview
Our online Paediatric First Aid course has been developed to enable parents and professionals to develop their knowledge and Continued Professional Development. In turn this will enable them to give immediate care to an infant or child who has been injured, or who has become ill prior to the arrival of qualified medical assistance. The course consists of 11 modules and includes video demonstrations, images, downloads and in depth content to enable the learner to be confident in their abilities. £5 from every course will be donated to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Description
This course provides theoretical training in emergency first aid techniques that are specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Learners undertaking this course will be able to provide support to the paediatric first aider to maintain the welfare of infants and children.
Learners will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation, such as a child or an infant who is unresponsive, has an airway obstruction, has breathing difficulties or is suffering from shock or anaphylaxis:

All successful students will be issued with an Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate issued by Spearhead Compliance Training

Answer:Hello Asma, Our online course is a CPD course so will not meet the OfSted regs. We do however run 1 day practical courses at our training centre in Birmingham for £75.00 + VAT which you can book onto by visiting our website
