Description

Ear candling or ear coning or Thermo-Auricular Therapy is an alternative medicine practice to remove earwax and intoxicants with the use of Hopi ear candles, the procedure is pleasant and non-evasive that is used to treat a variety of conditions.

It is also believed that it aids relaxation and provide relief for ear, nose and headaches. Also sooth throat irritation, as well as improves hearing and in some cases also relieves ear pain.

History shows that this therapy had been practiced by the Greeks for cleansing, purifying and healing.

Results differ with every patient but it is also said to heal migraine, tension headaches
travel sickness, anxiety and stress.

At the end of this course, students shall learn how to:

(1) understand the ear

(2) understand the anatomy and physiology of the head;

(3) perform hopi treatment;

(4) assess results of treatment;

(5) understand ear wax; and

(6) understand ethics and

(7) establish oneself.

To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.

Anyone can be treated with Thermo-Auricular Therapy even children provided that they are not suffering from too much pain that needs immediate medical attention.

A Thermo-Auricular Therapy once a month can be beneficial for preventing problems.

This course does not work on Tablets and Mobile Phones.
