A variety of systematic approaches are being used by occupational therapists to steer individuals and their families, communities or organisations to motivate and support them in engaging in different occupations of life. To put it simply, occupational therapy proves to be valuable in improving the overall wellness and restoring and sustaining the independence of people suffering from an injury, disability, illness or psychological dysfunction.
