Overview

The Online Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (DTLLS) is designed for candidates who are already in a teaching / training role with children aged 14 years or above. On the course you will log 150hours of your current teaching and complete 11 mandatory units.

Successful candidates can then go on to apply for QTLS and have equal parity with PGCE graduates. However the Level 5 qualification alone can be enough to secure a full time teaching position at a college or secondary school (without QTLS).

The course is a great alternative to a degree that may allow candidates to achieve full teacher status in a much smaller time scale and at a fraction of the cost (compared to university).
