The PMI Online Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is an accessible way to learn about the tools, methods and benefits of business improvement and six sigma.
Delivered in a modular online format, it is the ideal way to introduce and share knowledge of what’s involved in a Six Sigma initiative.
The course includes our award winning Lean content, is accessible from multiple browsers and platforms and is MAC and OS compatible. A fictitious business improvement case study play out throughout the e-Learning in “soap opera” setting helping learners to gain familiarity with the tools, terminology and method without the need for formal classroom training.
At the end of the 33 module series, learners are awarded a certificate of completion to recognise their “Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt” level of awareness.
What's covered?
The course is designed for use by anyone at any level of an organisation. The series takes users around the entire PMI Improvement Cycle – our proven methodology for business process improvement. Along the way, theoretical concepts are presented and then applied by the team at Presto Pizza, our fictional case study company. To enable you to learn at your own pace, the Online Yellow Belt is divided into bite-size chunks.
Throughout the course, learners gain familiarity with the tools, terminology and methods of Lean Six Sigma without the need for formal classroom training. With the Yellow Belt course, you will learn how to define an improvement project, test and implement potential improvement solutions and sustain the improvements you make.
