Is this an actual GCSE qualification. I need it to get into teaching.

An IGCSE is an exact equivalent to the GCSE qualification but contains no coursework component, so is entirely assessed by exam. This is a globally recognised equivalent to the standard GCSE qualification.

Hi About this course I am wondering if there is any time limit in how long or short it takes you to complete the course?

Hi Katie, The great thing about CloudLearn is that you dictate, how long it takes to complete. The full International GCSE is 120 hours of study, so at 40 hours per week – that would be 3 weeks, 20 hours a week = 6 weeks, 10 hours per week = 4 months. It’s totally down to you and your commitment to study.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body.
