Description

(a) the theories regarding children and young people workforce and their significance;
(b) various approaches to work-based learning;
(c) working with gifted and talented children;
(d) policies related to working with children with special educational needs and disabilities;
(e) risk management in the practice of working with children;
(f) language learning and its legislation and governance policies;
(g) how to build a reflective practice in training and keeping a collaborative relationship with parents, colleagues and the community.
The course is integrated with interactive materials, allowing for better presentation of the topics discussed within. Students shall undergo assessments throughout the duration of the course to check their progress and ensure knowledge retention.
