The course will teach you how to plan and carry out assessments in a straightforward, step-by-step format. By its conclusion candidates will achieve a nationally accredited assessing qualification.

Certification

Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF)

Description

Candidates upon enrolment are automatically sent electronic resources, including PowerPoint, video lectures, templates and a hard copy textbook in the post. At this time the candidate is also assigned a mentor who will guide them through the course and answer any questions about its content.

Video examples included within the presentations allow candidates to practice both a workplace and vocational assessment. Once ready the candidate then carries out eight assessments on two different learners (so four on each).

Towards the end of the course an observational visit is arranged whereby an experienced assessor will observe the candidate carrying out one assessment. This is also a good chance to catch up and check overall progress. Once all eight assessments are complete the candidate is awarded the nationally recognised Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) qualification.
