This qualification will enable you to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work as a specialist in general construction contracting operations management within the construction industry.

After completing this qualification, you will be able to apply for a Manager (Black) CSCS card.

Description

This qualification supports the candidate to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge.

The candidate will learn key practical skills and knowledge in these mandatory units:

  • Maintain health, safety and welfare system in construction contracting operations management
  • Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility
  • Chair meetings and take decisions in construction contracting operations management
  • Develop and maintain working relationships and personal development in construction contracting operations management

The candidate will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in three of the following optional units:
