This qualification provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working as a site supervisor or assistant site manager.
Achievement of this qualification is accepted by CSCS when individuals are applying for the Gold Supervisory Card.

- Maintaining Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental Protection in the Workplace
- Assessing and Recommending Work Methods for Carrying Out Site Operations in the Workplace
- Planning Activities and Resources to Meet Work Requirements in the Workplace
- Controlling Work Progress Against Agreed Programmes in the Workplace
- Coordinating and Organising the Control of Work in the Workplace
- Allocating and Monitoring the Use of Plant, Equipment or Machinery in the Workplace
Standard of English
Candidates must have a written and spoken English standard to such a degree that they can both understand and articulate the key concepts contained within the high-level course syllabus.

Assessment
Assessment is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units. This will be achieved by production of evidence into a portfolio against the Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria for every unit. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 108 credits.
Who is this course for?
This course is for supervisors and assistant site managers who are looking to gain an NVQ qualification through a formal traditional course.
Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however you must have access to a mobile phone (to send photos and videos), computer or tablet with a camera and audio capabilities and be able to log onto Zoom.

With experience you could specialise in health and safety, contract management or move into general construction management.
