Description
The course includes 185 taught hours and approximately 144 hours of private study and background reading, with 80 assessment hours.
The course is equivalent to a UK degree with full honours and consists of three units.
DI1 Know.
Workplace health and safety principles
DI2 Do.
Controlling workplace health issues
DI3 Do.
Controlling workplace safety issues
DI1 is an assignment, whilst for DI2 and DI3 learners must complete a case study. Part of the Unit DI1 assessment will require learners to undertake some workplace-based activities. A delegate can receive an overall refer, pass, credit or distinction grade following their open book examination and a pass grade for the practical assessment.

- Holders of the NEBOSH International Diploma are entitled to join the NEBOSH Alumni. In addition, you are entitled to use the designatory letters IDipNEBOSH after your name once you pass.
Requirements
There are no mandatory qualification entry requirements for this qualification; however, it is recommended learners have undertaken the NEBOSH International Certificate. NEBOSH strongly recommends that learners have a suitable standard of English to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
