NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management

The NEBOSH National General Certificate qualification has been recognised for many years as an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety. Examinations

There are two major course Units (EC1 & EC2) to successfully complete before you become fully certified with the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate qualification. Comprised of one 2-hour written examination and a 3-hour practical assessment of the candidate's own workplace. The written paper consists of one long-answer question and ten short-answer questions.

Students must also complete a practical inspection report assessment, which consists of carrying out a risk assessment of a workplace and preparing a short report – this is known as Unit EC2.

There are Nine individual Unit Modules within this NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management course syllabus via eLearning.

This course is split up in to 2 core Units, EC1 and EC2.

The NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management is designed for Managers, supervisors and employees based in the UK, who have responsibility for managing environment issues, as part of their day to day duties. The qualification focuses on UK law and environmental management systems. It also provides a sound basis for progression on to the NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental management.
