Want to learn about the principles of end-of-life care?
Our Principles of End-of-Life Care course will prepare you to care for people approaching the end of their lives. In addition to learning how to support and manage pain and discomfort, you will gain insight into how dementia impacts end-of-life care. Additionally, you will learn how to support family and friends through grief and loss.
Britain has an ageing population – people aged over 64 are expected to grow to 15 million by 2040. This means more people will live with serious chronic illnesses and will require end-of-life care. The problems faced and support needed by people nearing the end of life are wide-ranging. A good understanding of pain management, support, and quality of life will help all who are caring for others personally or in a work environment.
