Overview

Our 3-day MSP® Foundation training course will provide you with a thorough understanding of the internationally recognised Programme Management Methodology - Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®). Our classroom course will provide you with the skills you need to confidently use MSP® to work within a programme.

MSP® Foundation Examination:

  • 75 question multiple choice examination which involves 5 trial questions
  • The examination duration is 1 hour
  • The pass mark Is 35 out of 70 (50% pass mark)

The tutors will appropriately prepare you with practice exam papers so you can walk into the exam feeling confident and ready.

At the end of our MSP® Foundation course you will be able to:

  • Understand the facts, terms and concepts relating to each theme
  • Understand how each governance theme relates to the principles
  • Understand the approach to the treatment of each governance theme
  • Appreciate how each governance theme is applied throughout the transformational flow
  • Understand the responsibilities involved in each governance theme apply and tailor the relevant aspects of each governance theme to a given scenario
  • Identify, analyse and distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate application of each governance theme in a given scenario application of MSP® in an exam environment

Requirements

Experience of working in a programme environment is essential. However, if this is not applicable, Project Management experience or Project Board experience may be appropriate, but it is not recommended that you attempt this course without any experience at all.

It is required for you to have revised the ‘Managing Successful Programme’ workbook for at least 15 hours before the course. There will also be a minimum of 2 hours homework every evening.
