COURSE OUTLINE

Moving and handling people course comprises 13 different modules, which are as follows;

• Fitting and Using A Flat or Tubular Slide Sheet
• Bed Mobility

• More Hoisting Techniques

DURATION

The total duration of Moving and handling people - video content is 150 Minutes; it does not include the time taken to read, analyse and attempt the quiz or conduct any other research.

ASSESSMENT

After successful enrolment, the learner will get access to the Learning Platform, where the training material is available. The training is in video format, and each module has many videos.

3-5 Multiple Choice Questions follow each module. You can review the video content as often as you like and submit the test once satisfied with the answers. The minimum pass score is 80%, and you will have three attempts to pass a test for each module. But, if in any condition, you cannot pass in three attempts, you can request three more attempts for all modules, after which all modules will be locked.

ACCREDITATION

The courses offered by Inspire London College are approved and accredited by The CPD Certification Services and different organisations in specific fields including IIRSM (International Institute of Risk and Safety Management), IATP (Independent Asbestos Training Providers), and IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers).

CERTIFICATION

There are two options for a certificate of completion:

After the assessment is completed, the ‘Get Your Certificate’ button will become available. Learners can use this to download a free certificate in PDF format.

Certificate of Completion (Hard copy) = £15

OPTION 2

You can also get CPD Accredited Certificate from Inspire London College along with a transcript either in PDF format or Hard copy.

This course is for those individuals working in health and social Care who have people in their Care that have mobility issues. This course is also for those:

• Healthcare Professionals: these people work in clinical social Care, theatre, psychiatry and allied health professions.
• Allied Health Professionals: this includes occupational therapists and physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and nurses.
• Adult Care: this includes staff working in long term care, supported housing and social Care.

• Good knowledge of the English Language
