About Robust IT

Since 2011 Robust IT has delivered industry leading IT and Project Management training to more than 80,000 students. Founded by our Directors Darren Bilmen and Rizwan Qayyum, at the time both highly respected Microsoft Certified Trainers and with a mutual frustration with the training providers they worked for. Darren and Rizwan shared the same belief that it is not simply about helping students gain a qualification but also ensuring they learn the practical skills to apply their knowledge and also to provide a genuine career path. Robust IT was founded with the mission statement to offer a route into IT for everyone - regardless of background, experience or financial situation. If you want to further your IT career or start one from scratch, Robust IT can help. Here is why Robust IT standout as the IT training provider of choice:

Official vendor certification. We don't do Robust IT certificates of achievement because to be blunt they wouldn't be worth the paper they were printed on! Our courses build to the official examinations where you will gain only the vendor certification. Your certifications will be globally recognised and with vendors such as Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO and the EC-Council.

Credentials. We proudly boast several key partnerships that we feel recognise us as an industry leader. We are Microsoft Gold Partner and are a recognised supplier by GCHQ. We work closely with the Ministry of Defence as the only training provider permitted to deliver Cyber Security training to leaving members of the armed forces. Our student success rates are as high as 100% and as low as a still superb 94% depending on study route.

Able to work to your budget and schedule. We understand that time and money are often in short supply. Our training centres based in London, Essex, Birmingham and Manchester means our classroom reach is wide. Our best in class online training portal allows us to reach you no matter where you are in the World or when you are able to study. With Robust IT you choose when, where and how you study. Our generous 2 year course access gives you plenty of time to study and achieve. We strive to keep our price point lower than all of our competition. For those of you unable to pay the entire balance of your training up front, we are partnered with 3 fantastic Finance companies and also have our own in house repayment scheme - this means we can break the cost of training down to monthly installments to suit your budget.

FAQs

What does study method mean?

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At reed.co.uk courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

What are CPD hours/points?

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on reed.co.uk, many of which can be completed online.

What is a ‘regulated qualification’?

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

What is an ‘endorsed’ course?

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body’s logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as ABC Awards and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
