Overview

New to Microsoft Excel? Never had any formal training? Nervous about formulas? You’re not alone.

This practical Excel Level 1 beginner course is designed to help teams and individuals build a strong foundation in spreadsheets, formulas, and everyday data tasks. It’s ideal for organisations looking to improve confidence, consistency, and efficiency when working with Excel.

Whether participants are completely new to Excel or have been “muddling through” for years, this course demystifies Excel and helps learners become confident, efficient users in their day-to-day roles.

This course is delivered as in-house training for your organisation and can be run on-site or live online, depending on your requirements. Content and pacing can be adapted to suit your team’s experience and the way Excel is used within your business.

The training is highly practical and interactive. Participants are guided step by step and encouraged to follow along throughout the session, ensuring skills are applied immediately rather than just discussed.

All attendees receive a comprehensive course file containing detailed notes, worked examples, and exercises. By the end of the training, participants will have a completed workbook they can keep and use as an ongoing reference.
