In what format is this course delivered e.g. book? videos/exercises?

Answer:

The Microsoft Excel - Advanced course is broken down into 25 lessons. Each lesson includes a short video tutorial, exercise files you can download and complete, reference documentation to read through and a short quiz. Once all lessons are complete you can take a final exam and receive a certificate for completing the course.

This says a 12 month course. Can you do it quicker?

Yes, you will have access to the course for 12 months, but the estimated study time is only 14 hours. It is a self-paced course, so you can work on the course when it is convenient for you. Also, once the course is complete you will still have access to the lessons for the remainder of your 12 months, so you can go back and reference as needed.
