Overview

This Microsoft Excel course gives an overview of how Excel is used. It explains how to get started with Excel learning how to open, close, create and save spreadsheets. It explains about the Excel environment and how to navigate a spreadsheet. It covers how to enter, copy, select, copy, move and edit data. It shows you how to work with worksheets and how to work with formula and functions. Formatting data is covered as well as basic charts and getting prepared to print.

Included is a competency test that follows this Course Outline which can be taken pre or post learning to measure skills. There are 30 questions ranging from true/false, multiple choice, hotspot, fill in the blanks or sequence. The pass mark is 80% and you will receive an on-line Bite Size competency certificate to print out if you pass. It’s a great way to test your knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and is included in our Bite Size Library to complement our courses.

Add a bit of fun into your working day, and test your skills with our Excel Millionaire Game. See how far you can get on the leader board. Each section is based on our Microsoft Excel Courses from Introduction Level to Advanced Level. You can play the game as many times as you like to become a Millionaire.

Unfortunately there will be no money changing hands, but it will give you the kudos that you know your subject well.

Games can be tailor made for your organisation and can cover any form of testing you need. It doesn’t have to be Microsoft Excel.
