Overview

This intermediate MS Excel course is designed for users who have attended an introductory level course or are already confident with the basic features of using MS Excel.

By the end of this course you will be able to work with multiple worksheets and workbooks, format numbers, create subtotals and consolidate data. You will learn about how to name cells, filter data, work with graphics, create mini charts with sparklines and create and manage templates.

Included is a competency test that follows this Course Outline which can be taken pre or post learning to measure skills. There are 30 questions ranging from true/false, multiple choice, hotspot, fill in the blanks or sequence. The pass mark is 80% and you will receive an on-line Bite Size competency certificate to print out if you pass. It’s a great way to test your knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and is included in our Bite Size Library to complement our courses.

Add a bit of fun into your working day, and test your skills with our Excel Millionaire Game. See how far you can get on the leader board. Each section is based on our Microsoft Excel Courses from Introduction Level to Advanced Level. You can play the game as many times as you like to become a Millionaire.

Unfortunately there will be no money changing hands, but it will give you the kudos that you know your subject well.

Games can be tailor made for your organisation and can cover any form of testing you need. It doesn’t have to be Microsoft Excel.
