Description
This programme aims to broaden students' existing knowledge about marketing and supplement their work experience with contemporary skills and concepts marketing managers need to become successful professionals in their field; students improve their strategic decision making skills and develop their understanding of international marketing strategy; the focus of the award is on developing students' ability to find and exploit unique and innovative marketing strategies that would empower them to not only respond to rapid changes in the market, but to also anticipate and even influence these changes that are crucial for the competitive strength and profitability of employers; students learn about marketing management and practice it; the research element of the programme will enable students to investigate an international marketing problem currently affecting a company or industry of your choice, design an innovative solution to this problem and critically analyse how the implementation of the solution has impacted the company; this will enable students to explore how theory relates to practice.

Requirements:
Applicants require: A UK Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 years managerial experience or; 5 years managerial experience (evaluated on a case-by-case basis); level 7 postgraduate Diploma; applicants without a level 7 Diploma but holding significant managerial experience will be considered for advanced entry on a case-by- case basis. A good command of English (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for students requiring a Tier 4 visa).

Modules include: Strategic financial management; strategic management; marketing management and strategy; global marketing; strategic marketing for social enterprise; research methods for managers; dissertation project.
