Overview

Incorrect manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury at work. It can result in work related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) which account for over a third of all workplace injuries. The risk could be reduced significantly if managers and workers understand the risks and take appropriate action. This course serves as a quick, simple, effective way of explaining the risks associated with manual handling and the practical steps that can be taken to manage the risk.
