This course is designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace and the manager's role and responsibilities in monitoring and reviewing safety systems.
Health and safety practices and legislation apply to anyone working the UK and in particular to manager's to fulfil their responsibilities.
This course is based on the professional standards of the Institute of Works and Facilities Management (IWFM) which is the professional body for facilities management (FM) in the UK. Founded in 1993, the Institute represents and promotes the interest of members and the wider FM community.

Career path
This course is based on the IWFM Level 4 Award/Certificate in Facilities Management, and learners have the opportunity to move onto the full course via our Virtual Learning Environment.
