Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law provides a coherent programme of study that enables law graduates, lawyers and those with a relevant first degree to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the international business law at postgraduate level. This course is available to students from both a legal and non-legal background. The aim of this programme is to develop legal skills, analysis, logical thinking and knowledge that can usefully be applied in further study, the legal profession and public service. It provides students with an understanding of the law in the context of business to equip them with abilities needed to work with advance issues.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the qualification, learners will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the commercial trust law, company law, international trade law, intellectual property law, and the law of financial crimes in the international business.

Description

The overall structure of the course is based on 7 units that cover a number of topics relating to learning outcomes. Each unit has the equivalency of 20 credits. Learners are required to complete only 7 units to achieve 120 credits.

Assessment Methods

Assessment methods include assignments. There is no exam in this course. You will be required to submit an assignment for each unit of minimum 2000-3000 words in length to pass the unit and to achieve unit credits.

Results and Certificate

Learners must complete 6 units successfully and achieve 120 credits before the qualification certificate and final transcript will be issued by the awarding body.

Additional Certification (Optional)

Learners who achieve this qualification are entitled to achieve an additional 120 credits Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law, awarded by Qualifi - subject to the awarding body registration & certification fees.

Additional Note: Assessment fee

  • Assessment cost of the qualification is £400, payable at the beginning of the course or in £100/month for four months.
