Description
This course provides knowledge of applications and in-depth analysis in preparation for careers in business administration, product management, strategic planning, financial management and control as well as marketing entrepreneurship. This programme covers a wide range of modern issues and develops the critical, analytical, and technical skills needed by senior management staff. Moreover, Level 7 postgraduate diploma offers careers related guidance and support to postgraduate students.
At the end of the course, a graduate is expected to be able to:

Course Structure
Complete eight (8) modules and achieve 120 credits,
Unit 01: International Marketing Management
It provides students with knowledge of the theory, concepts, issues, and practice of international marketing. It identifies processes, contexts, and influences associated with international marketing strategies, develops students' appreciation both of strategies and plans for different economies and of the implications, monitoring, and control of the international marketing process.
Unit 02: Organisational Development and Change
The main aims of the course are to provide students with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with aspects of theory relating to organisational behaviour and organisational change; to explore how organisational change can influence, and be influenced by, organisational behaviour; to critique a number of change strategies; to apply what they learn to their own managerial situation.
Unit 03: Financial Management
This unit enables students to appreciate and understand the financial issues faced by an organisation’s management and the activities undertaken by an organisation to have effective financial management. It examines relevant issues including financial strategy, debt and equity management, the key drivers of shareholder value, corporate governance and asset portfolio management.
Unit 04: International Business Strategy
This course aims introduce learners to current debates, theories and practices in the field of International Business
Unit 05: Operations and Supply Chain Management
The aim of the programme is to provide postgraduate-level education in operations and supply chain management principles, theories and practice. This unit introduces the concepts of logistics and supply chain management. The unit explores issues in relation to logistics including value, managing lead time and techniques including just-in-time, and incorporating the role of technology in this process.
Unit 06: Human Resource Management
Business organisations today face unprecedented challenges. Across virtually every area of the economy, managers are confronted with new conditions of rapid technological change, intense global competition and growing demands for social responsibility. These challenges are obliging organisations to redesign their internal structures and policies. This course examines the character of these people management strategies in modern organisations.
Unit 07: Research Methods for Managers
This unit deals with principles of research including formulations of research questions, hypothesis and objectives. The unit will cover literature reviews, referencing, data collection using interviews and surveys, questionnaire design, statistical analysing using SPSS and developing statistical modules, qualitative data analysis inferences and conclusions from the analysed data. Analysis includes factor analysis, regression analysis, discriminates analysis and logistic regression using SPSS.
Unit 08: Entrepreneurship and Business Development
This unit aims to provide learners with an understanding of the theory and practice of entrepreneurship in a range of organisational context. It also encourages learners to develop a critical appreciation of current academic debates on entrepreneurship and other closely related concepts.
Unit 09: Business and Sustainability
Sustainability is increasingly being recognised as a critical challenge for society. It is also becoming an important business objective both in industry and government. This unit highlights the particular threats and opportunities presented to the business community as a result of the adoption of sustainable development priorities. This unit aims at developing the skills and knowledge of current sustainability issues in business responses.

Assessment Methods
Assessment methods include assignments. There is no exam in this course.
Exemptions and Credit Transfer
Students can apply for exemptions or 75 credit transfer up of the total course (120 credits) based on their experience or certified prior learning/evidence. Then they have to do only three modules to achieve full L7 BA.
Results and Certificate
Learners must complete 8 units successfully and achieve 120 credits before the qualification certificate and final transcript will be issued.
Double Awards - Special offer for L7 PGD BA Students
Learners who will study the Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration can Optional achieve an additional qualification - Level 7 Diploma in Executive Management subject to the awarding body registration, quality assurance & certification.
Additional Note: Assessment Cost
Assessment cost of the qualification is £400 (instead £800), payable at the beginning of the course or in £100/month for four months.
