Description
The Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management has been developed to produce
graduates with skills to understand the management of human resources, aligned with
good strategic decision making, to maintain organisations’ competitive advantage. To
achieve this, learners acquire knowledge through an integrated approach of theory in
human resource management and practice using real-time activities. Successful
completion of this diploma will enable learners to build on their strategic human

Who is this course for?
The Qualification has been designed to meet the needs of senior/middle managers in
the running of their businesses, and to facilitate their progression to high levels within
their organisation.
Managers need to be aware of issues, able to analyse their potential out comes and
consequences, and decide how to react. They do not have to be expert in all areas of
business, but they need to possess a general awareness of what specialist facilities
and services exist, and how they can assist in carrying out that role. The programme
includes contemporary topics reflecting key issues within the 21st - century business
environment as well as the latest developments in management research.
The Diploma is accredited at the post graduate Level 7. The programme has a total
equivalence of 120 credits. Completing the Diploma allows access to a dissertation at
one of our University partners for a related Master Degree.
Requirements
For entry, learner must possess one of the following:
- UK level 6 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners (over 21) with relevant work experience
- English requirements: If the learner is not from a majority English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency.
Career path
Upon successful completion of Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management qualification learners will be eligible to:
- Masters degree (top-up); or
- Directly into employment in a relevant field
