This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units. Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.

Learners must produce a portfolio of evidence and have access to a 9 months course duration to complete entirely at their own pace. This is unit based which demonstrates your overall achievement of all the learning outcomes and criteria for each unit. You must achieve a ‘pass’ for each unit which is performed by demonstrating evidence which manages to meet the assessment criteria. Assessment includes written assignments, workplace observation, professional discussion, and submission of evidence.

Awarding Body

We are an approved centre with ProQual, meaning we can offer approved qualifications through this OFQUAL-regulated, fully accredited awarding body. Working alongside ProQual, we aim to help learners achieve the best results. The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (RQF) is a recognised and fully-accredited qualification that can lead to a Black CSCS Card. Completion of the whole qualification is a prerequisite for beginning the process of professional body membership.

• Controlling project progress against agreed programmes in the workplace
• Managing your personal development in the workplace
• Identifying, allocating and planning the deployment and use of plant, equipment or machinery in the workplace
• Establishing dimensional control criteria in the workplace
• Controlling project quantities and costs in the workplace
• Evaluating feedback and making recommendations in the workplace
• Managing the installation, maintenance, monitoring and removal of temporary works in the workplace

Learners must meet the following entry requirements:

This qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.
Learners must be in a voluntary or paid role within the sector.
Learners must be able to demonstrate Maths and English at level 2
Learners must have access to a qualified observer. This is someone who holds this qualification or an equivalent or higher.

Successful completion of the ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (Construction) will enable you to apply for the Black CSCS Card (also known as the Managers Card), demonstrating your high level of competence and professionalism within the construction industry.
