As the course is online based, students have 9 months access to our online learning platform to study completely at their own pace. Learners will work through written essays using our provided learning materials that can be accessed through our online learning platform. Moreover, there are several requirements which must be met via workplace observation. The guided learning hours for this qualification are 532 hours and most students are certified within 6-8 months; however, you do have the full 9 months to complete the course.

• Develop and implement health and safety emergency response systems and procedures
• Develop and implement health and safety review systems
• Maintain knowledge of improvements to influence health and safety practice

• This qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.
• Learners must be in a voluntary or paid role within the sector.
• Learners must be able to demonstrate Maths and English at level 2
• Learners must have access to a qualified observer. This is someone who holds this qualification or an equivalent or higher.

The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Health & Safety Practice is a recognised and fully-accredited qualification that can lead to IOSH membership. Completion of the whole qualification is a prerequisite for beginning the process of professional body membership.
